Rainforest of the Wet Tropics


The Wet Tropics of North Queensland was listed World Heritage in 1988 and covers 9000 square kilometers between Cooktown and Townsville. This is a region of spectacular scenery and rugged topography with fast flowing rivers, deep gorges and numerous waterfalls surrounded by ancient rare Rainforest: a wild Living Museum !
