Hong Kong

Crowded, noisy and chaotic, Hong Kong is both glamorous and traditional. Street side wet markets sit beside futuristic shopping malls and ancient temples in a complex patchwork of old and new. It is easy to be overwhelmed at first, but look past the initial onslaught of noise and smells and the visitor will find a city of pleasures. It might be finding a bargain at one of the many markets, taking in the view from the Peak, or culinary surprises at a roadside stall. Stinky tofu anyone?
