Sugar Cane Harvesting.


Large tractors empty their carts of freshly cut sugar cane into small carriages parked on a rail siding, alongside a sugar cane field. Then a tiny train pulls these carriages to a nearby mill for processing. Three tractors with their feeder baskets which load 10 ton of Sugar Cane each, all work from one harvester and can fill 180 baskets per day, each weighing 4 ton.
