Gifts From Nature

Welcome to my gallery

This gallery is all and only about what nature has to offer. You will see beautiful photos of animals captured in their natural habitats, as well as flowers showing why people have such a great interest in gardens around the world. I hope you'll enjoy each and every photo as much as I enjoyed time spent in nature to get them.

Gifts From Nature

Rose Blue. A blue rose is a flower of the genus Rosa (family Rosaceae), that presents blue-to-violet pigmentation instead of the more common red, white, or yellow. In 2004, researchers used genetic modification to create roses that contain the blue pigment delphinidin. Before that time, white roses were dyed blue. This one came out as a total fluke, I noticed it while I was walking in the Montreal botanical garden, after rain.
