Animals - Rock Wallaby.

Stock Photography By Paul Ross

The threatened species, Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby, (Petrogale xanthopus), inhabits limited areas in Australia. This area is the Warren Gorge in the Southern Flinders Ranges, South Australia. Due to massive hunting after European settlement (for their skins), drought combined with the competition for food with feral animals, such as goats and rabbits, domestic stock degradation to their environment, their populations are only found in a few small ranges in Australia.
